Reviews

' The poetry and verse in the vernacular by Harry Gallagher adds a depth and local feeling to the imagery. The addition of the Ambisonic soundscapes gives the reader a whoosh from the impression of being on the coast. Listening to the actual environments provides this gorgeous and thoughtful book with a whole new sense of immersion '. .

' A remarkable marriage of word, sound, and image that celebrates both the human and natural landscape of Northumbria. Buy it, and you will return to it again and again '. Gerda Pickin.

I saw this beautifully illustrated book on a recent holiday in Northumberland and should have bought it at the time . So pleased I've got a copy now . The sound recordings are so evocative and a wonderful reminder of a perfect time in our lives . Favourite poem .. Days Like These. Simply beautiful.
