a handsome mystical darkling
Figure skating on precious air
The fell echos to a raucous caw

Above the world
Above Scandale
Over crag, peak, mountain and falls
Diamond tails and flat wings us all,
Twisting and tumbling tricks done for the year,
as now there are hungry mouths near
Sparkling melt on warmer breeze
being the last memory of winter
